About Us

Born and raised in Bradford Ontario, Model Kris Yeo, and chef Michael Edgar had been childhood neighbours for 25 years, growing up across the street from one another, connected by the strong bond of their mothers.  

As they grew older, Kris and Michael discovered passions of their own and decided to leave their childhood homes. Separately and in opposite directions, both set off to follow their dreams. 

Kris had always wanted to be a fashion model. She has been signed with multiple top agencies and lived in LA, and Australia for work. She had instant success and became a well-known international plus-size model. In addition to modelling around the world, she also prides herself on being a body-positive/ mental health activist. She works full time as a model and has worked with many top brands in both print and commercial. 

Michael has always had a hunger for the food industry. He studied at Liaison College and became a qualified chef. Taking his education outside the classroom, he had the opportunity to work with amazing mentors and top chefs in the Toronto / GTA area. He has run multiple kitchens, written many menus and has now become a mentor to new chefs. Along the way, he became a father and is blessed to have two young sons, Aiden and Sterling. 

Life was moving faster than ever for the two, advancing in their careers and overcoming hurdles of everyday busy life, when Covid 19 occurred. Required to return home, Kris left LA and returned to her childhood home for what she thought would be a few weeks, but it didn’t take long to realize that life had also brought Michael back home. Being home for much longer than expected, the two childhood neighbours reconnected in a way that no one saw coming!
